GAMMA was founded in 1986 with a range of 22 halogen light fixtures and a handful of distributors. This seems a lifetime ago to the organisation GAMMA has become today.
Now with a range with over 300 lighting products and 40,000 product variations, locally manufactured in NSW Australia, GAMMA is the prominent leader of Australian commercial lighting manufacturing.
In 2008 when the LED revolution was just beginning, GAMMA had already invested in years of R&D and consequently achieved an early world first; GAMMA had already designed and developed a range of commercial LED luminaries that truly performed and far exceeded worldwide benchmarks in output, performance and reliability.
Innovations of LED diode arrays, Thermal Management Systems (TMS) and Optics saw ‘IP Australia” grant one of their first patents for Gamma Illumination’s design and development of a commercially viable efficient LED Lighting system
